London & West Midlands | £12.21/hr + £8.72 sleep-in rate/hr

 

Jordan Xavier Connect Ltd is an Ofsted-registered organisation committed to providing safe, empowering supported accommodation for 16/17 year olds.

We are looking to recruit Support Workers to work across our services in London and the West Midlands.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering young people by promoting their independence and supporting their journey towards adulthood. This involves working collaboratively within a multi-agency framework, partnering with both internal teams and external professionals to ensure a comprehensive wrap-around support system. Every young person will be supported with respect, treated as an individual, and cared for in an inclusive, non-discriminatory environment.

We are looking for individuals who are resilient, committed, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Most importantly, you will serve as a positive role model to both the young people you support and your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

– Support young people with day-to-day life skills (budgeting, cooking, appointments)

– Create and maintain a safe, welcoming environment

– Follow safeguarding procedures to protect those your are supporting

– Work closely with the Manager and Social Workers to track progress and update care plans

– Participate in shift work, including sleep-ins and support young people with key work sessions.

What You’ll Need:

– UK Degree

– 1 year of work experience

– Full UK driving licence

– Good written and verbal communication skills

– Passion for helping young people and staying calm under pressure
